Education and Outreach Information and Schedule

FESTIVAL INFORMATION. Seattle Pro Musica presents its American Masterpieces Choral Festival on June 15, 16 and 17, 2007, celebrating the best of American choral music, with beloved classics and adventurous new works.

Seattle Pro Musica has been chosen by the National Endowment for the Arts as one of only seven choirs nationwide to produce a choral festival under the NEA’s American Masterpieces Choral Initiative project. Festival events include performances by Seattle Pro Musica, choirs from the Pacific Northwest and a children’s honor choir, as well as master classes and discussions with conductor Dale Warland and composer Morten Lauridsen. Mr. Warland will be featured as guest conductor for the festival and Mr. Lauridsen, whose works will be featured prominently on the festival programs, is the festival’s guest composer.
